Kidney failure in small animals is a common condition that affects cats more than dogs

Symptoms of kidney failure in cats include frequent urination, loss of protein in the urine and loss of water retention. However, chronic renal failure in dogs is usually caused by recurrent episodes of acute renal failure.

The age of the animal is a prognostic factor for chronic renal failure, which can develop suddenly or secondary to acute renal failure from poisoning when associated with conditions such as urinary tract obstruction or drug poisoning.

Medica SpA has developed a special product for the purification of the blood of small animals, consisting of a special equipment and related device.
