MEMBRANE PROPERTIES AND DATA

Versatile-PES® is the new MEDICA corrugated fiber membrane specially developed for plasma separation and is a polyethersulfone membrane for plasmapheresis and blood donation.
The asymmetric structure of Versatile®-PES offers excellent filtration performance.
Versatile-PES® MEDICA membrane;

• An optimized diameter and wall thickness to ensure a remarkable fiber mechanical resistance and the highest filtration surface in the minimum space;
• The very smooth inner membrane surface ensures less damage to red blood cells in the blood stream and minimizes the risk of hemolysis.
• High separation performance in terms of plasma proteins passing through the membrane (over 90%);
• An optimized membrane cut-off provides the possibility to use a significant TMP value
